Hello there!
It's mid of the month and about time for a new League of Geeks episode. This time, we have yet another data science talk. We will show you one of the most powerful tools for doing Data Science in the real world!
Data Science combines statistics and machine learning to extract valueable insights from data, for example how likely you would survive a trip on the Titanic. Typically, statistics are extracted from available training data to learn models which will later predict the outcome on test data. Because Data Science has a broad range of application domains, e.g. financial, sensor, and website interaction data, it has become widely popular.
/In this presentation Florian Wahl, a freelance Data Scientist and researcher at TH Deggendorf will give you a practical and easy to understand introduction to Data Science followed by a practical examples in Python./
