We will show

Science in the
real world!
Data Science
combines
statistics and
machine
learning to
extract
valueable
insights from
data, for
example how
likely you
would survive
a trip on the
Titanic.
Typically,
statistics are
extracted from
available
training data
to learn
models which
will later
predict the
outcome on
test data.
Because Data
Science has a
broad range of
application
domains, e.g.
financial,
sensor, and
website
interaction
data, it has
become widely
popular.
